Nick Wey Not Happy with Results from Anaheim #1, 2004

PHOENIX (Jan. 9, 2004) - After getting out of the gate slowly at the opener in Anaheim last week, Suzuki Factory pilot Nick Wey is looking to get back up to the speed that had him ranked fourth overall in the 250cc class of the 2003 THQ/AMA Supercross Series.

This weekend at Bank One Ballpark, Wey says he plans to get back on track and work his way back to the top of the standings aboard his Suzuki RM 250 - a place that's all-too familiar with the Michigan rider.

"I'm not at all happy with my performance at Anaheim and will no doubt put up some better results for Suzuki at Phoenix," said the determined Wey. "I have no excuses. Suzuki built me an incredibly fast bike, now it's up to me to improve in the standings."

Next week Wey and the Suzuki Factory team will be back at Edison International Field in Anaheim for Round Three of the 2004 THQ/AMA Supercross Series.
