ANAHEIM, Calif., (Jan. 30, 2004) - With his third-consecutive top-seven finish, Team Suzuki's Nick Wey moved up to 7th overall in the 2004 THQ/AMA Supercross Series title chase - just several points out of the top five. Last weekend at Qualcomm Stadium, Wey recovered from a bad start and piloted his RM 250 through the field and into seventh place overall.

This weekend Wey and Team Suzuki return to Anaheim Stadium for the final installment of the three-race supercross trilogy in Orange County.

"I'm definitely looking towards some consistent, yet fast riding from here on out," said Wey. "We've got the bike dialed-in and, had it not been for a bad start and having to race comeback all night, I'd have scored a much better finish at San Diego. My plan at Anaheim 3 is to get out of the blocks fast and let the other riders worry about playing catch up."

Last year at Anaheim 3 Wey finished 11th overall.

Next week Wey and the Suzuki Factory team travel back up the West Coast to San Francisco's Pac Bell Stadium for Round Six of the 2004 THQ/AMA Supercross Series.
