ANAHEIM, Calif., (July 5, 2004) - Team Suzuki's Nick Wey continued to race well and improve in the overall 250 class standings, this past weekend going 7-8 for a seventh place finish at Red Bud.

"I had a good weekend of racing but the results weren't exactly what I wanted," said Wey. "At times I was running - easily - in a top five pace, maybe a bit faster in certain sections of the track. My RM 250 was running as good as it has all year, so if it weren't for a couple mistakes on my behalf I'd have been right up there challenging for the podium"

At Unadilla last year, Wey had a disappointing day, going 20-17 for 19^th place overall. Look for the Suzuki rider to improve upon those numbers for sure.

"I definitely haven't forgot about 'Dilla last year," said Wey. "I feel I have to prove something this year when we return. I like racing there, like the speeds and have had some pretty good results in the past. I want to keep things rolling and get back into the top five overall."
